RE: manx gp - DBD 34 - 19-08-2016 No, because the MGP proper is pushed so far out the back door these days that unless you're directly involved with a competitor you have no idea who is who, unlike the good old days. RE: manx gp - sidewaysid - 21-08-2016 Well said DBD 34, what an absolute mess the money grabbers have made of the legendary Manx. RE: manx gp - Revvin rich - 23-08-2016 can anyone tell me if Jeff Ward is riding in the supertwins manx! RE: manx gp - ericcane - 23-08-2016 Had a look in the programme. He doesn't appear to be entered. RE: manx gp - Revvin rich - 23-08-2016 Thanks for that erricane. RE: manx gp - LukeHondaBrightside - 28-08-2016 Its usually difficult at the Manx to predict who is gonna be the frontrunners. Its like a coveyor belt with riders moving up to the TT every year but then Newcomers coming through and getting faster. You only get a true picture at the end of practice week.. Andy Dudgeon and Tom Weedon looking like 600 and Senior contenders, but Newcomer Michael Evans is FASTEST of them all with a lap of 119.7mph during Saturday's practice. Oustanding. RE: manx gp - Alfie Noakes - 02-09-2016 More fabulous racing today .. love it. A 50% increase in motorcycles attending in 5 years and you think that's 'an absolute mess' ? The MGP cannot survive without visitors and the Festival of Motorcycling has been incredibly successful, perhaps you should go and see for yourself next year? (but you'd better book early because at least 30,000 people disagree with you) |
