All of the leading riders who will be competing in the 2017 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy will be on the TT stand at the NEC to meet fans and sign autographs.
Nostalgic race fans can enjoy a trip down memory lane when the clock turns back on Sunday 20th November for the Classic TT day while the adrenaline junkies can enjoy ‘TT Mad Sunday’ on the closing day of the show – Sunday 27th November. Some of the greatest names in the world of Motorcycle Racing including ‘Morecambe Missile’ John McGuinness, a 23 time TT Race winner, double 2016 RST Superbike and PokerStars Senior TT race winner Michael ‘Maverick’ Dunlop, the resurgent Ian Hutchinson, a triple TT Race winner in 2016, the resilient Honda Racing rider Conor Cummins, the up and coming contenders Peter Hickman and Lee Johnston, the evergreen Kiwi Bruce Anstey not to mention James Hillier, Ivan Lintin and Dean Harrison, who all have TT race wins to their name will be sharing their personal insights into racing around the TT Mountain Course. The sidecar crews, including multiple TT race winner Dave Molyneux and the world championship winning Birchall brothers and Tim Reeves will also be sharing their unique perspective on three wheeled racing on the Isle of Man. The riders will be talking through spectacular on board laps on a state of the art high definition, high adrenaline giant screen on the stand that will give you an incredible personal insight into racing on the world’s most challenging race circuit. You’ll also get the opportunity to study many of the winning TT and Classic TT bikes from this year’s meetings including the fastest solo and sidecar machines ever to lap the Mountain Course. The Hawk Racing BMW that Michael Dunlop rode to his double win and new outright lap record of 133.962 mph in 2016 will sit alongside the LCR Racing Honda sidecar outfit that the Birchall Brothers posted the new outright sidecar lap record of 116.798 and clinched the second Sure Sidecar race on in this year’s meeting. Steve Wheatman’s Suzuki XR69 that Michael Dunlop dominated the Motorsport Merchandise Superbike Classic TT on in August and Clive Padgetts stunning 250 Honda that Bruce Anstey raced to victory in the inaugural Sure Lightweight Classic TT will both provoke huge interest while Roger Winfield’s Senior Classic TT winning Paton that John McGuinness finally broke his Classic TT duck on will also be making an appearance. And if that isn’t enough, you can see close up, and be pictured with, the priceless, iconic Senior TT Trophy, one of the world’s most stunning and instantly recognisable sporting trophies.
