Someone recently asked a question about races being reduced from 6 to 4 laps. Does anyone know what the reply was?

Why not make it a one lap race?
Go all that way the expense for a 4 lap race if it rains why bother, with the race SIX laps thats the piont this will be the start of the end for TT

Why not remove 10,000ft off the top of Mount Everest? It would be easiser to climb and should reduce the casualties!!!

Don't do that or you will have John Crellin back there again frightening the natives.

If safety is paramount then I would have thought that restricting riders to only 1 race per day would be a higher priority, but then it wouldn't be worth their while would it?
And with reduced practice what will be the qualification requirements?
Also I still haven't seen any figures that prove that accidents happen "towards the end of longer races", and if they do then what are the reasons behind it? People getting tired? Or people trying harder to move up a place or 2?
