AN EVENING WITH TEAM MACKENZIE

Team Mackenzie are definitely not just your ordinary family next door. Dad Niall is a triple British Superbike Champion and former GP star whilst sons Taylor and Tarran currently hold the British Superstock and Supersport Championship titles respectively. With 3 racing stars on stage, 2017’s 'evening with' promises to be one of the best yet.

The event takes place on Friday 17th March at our motorcycle branch (Wellington Road, Worth Way, Keighley, BD21 5AJ) and doors will be open from 6pm with us aiming to get things underway just after 7pm.

As always there’ll be a bite to eat along with a few drinks (as it's St. Patrick's day, we've decided that it would be customary to have Irish stew and Guinness on offer!) and we’ll also have some goodies up for grabs with all proceeds going to Manorlands Sue Ryder hospice.

If you'd like to come along, then register below, and don't forget - places are limited, and as we have always had a full house in the past, we'd suggest you register early to avoid disappointment!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT OUR GUESTS..

NIALL MACKENZIE

Former racing start Niall now works in Motorcycle Media, instructing on track days around the UK and Europe and without doubt a great ambassador for the sport. He had a long career in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing circuit, debuting in 1984 in the 250cc class, moving up to the 500cc class in 1986 on a Suzuki before spells on Honda and Yamaha motorcycles. He was 4th in the championship in 1990, and finished in the top 10 in the championship on six other occasions. Having won the British 250cc and 350cc titles twice earlier in his career he then went on to win the British Superbike Championship three times from 1996 to 1998.

TAYLOR MACKENZIE

2016 British Superstock Champion Taylor has come through the motorcycling ranks following in his father Niall's footsteps having previously competed in the British 125GP Championship, Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup along with the British Supersport Championship. 2017 will see him joining the Bennetts Suzuki squad to contend the prestigious Superbike Championship aboard a GSX-R1000.

TARRAN MACKENZIE

There’s no doubt the youngest Mackenzie is following in the footsteps of his Dad and older brother having won the highly competitive British Supersport Championship in 2016. 21 year old Tarran, better known as Taz, will return to defend his title in 2017 joining forces with the McAMS official Yamaha team.
