Other stuff to do during practice week - paully21 - 20-05-2017
Any other events or activities going on during practice week (we arrive Monday late afternoon by airplane) to take up the downtime?

Presuming, you're on a bike, the best thing to do is explore this beautiful island, take in every part of it, and enjoy it when it's a little bit quieter.
This will (only) be our fourth visit, but the more familiar we get with the island, the better it becomes. There are so many lovely roads to ride away from the course, and beautiful scenery.
For us, my wife and I, the racing is just part of a truly wonderful 12 day holiday, and the island has many attractions to see and visit, such as the Laxey Wheel, Snaefell Railway, and numerous museums etc. Lots of nice places to eat and drink as well, and of course the Grandstand and pit areas are a constant hive of activity every day.
You won't have any problems filling, and enjoying your days !

Whatever it is that you want from your holiday -- relaxation, outdoor adventure, fun, culture -- you'll find it here in the Isle of Man.
You can enjoy coastal beauty, mountainous terrain and rolling countryside. You can explore castle ruins, ride Victorian steam trains and watch wildlife on land and at sea.
And of course, you can even watch one of the most famous motorsport events in the world -- the legendary TT motorcycle races.

Last year the Manx Heritage sites did a TT special with a badge to allow unlimited entry to their sites. Much cheaper than usual. Worth it if want to visit at least 3 of the places.
