suppose its just the time of year gotta get the excuess ready for not running at full power
wonder when the last time both boats ran at full power during the busy periods
i can remember a good few years back we were over a hour late setting off from heysham and still docked 10 mins early
just shows what they can do when they want to

What's she like generally ?
We travel on her from Heysham on Sunday 28th and it'll be our first time on her having always bagged Manannan
A little more traditional, and somewhat more leisurely than Manannan I guess but still a nice place to be ?

Hope you're not getting paid overtime as from the above posts it would appear that you have spent most of this evening tracking the Ben my Chree and dissing larger ladies.
Don't get your point about larger ladies tights neither, bit like Chris Kinley shouting "they need to take some tension out of that loose chain" surely smaller tights would work better!!!!

Fine. As an IOM resident I usually travel on the Ben two or three times a year and prefer it to Manannan. Ben to Heysham is around 3.5 hours and Manan to LPL is 2.75 hours so there's really not that much in it. The Ben is bigger, more comfortable, has better facilities and you can have a smoke!! Winner all round.
