Southern 100 Club President, Derek Nicholson presently in Nobles Hospital wishes to extend his grateful thanks and appreciation for all the good wishes extended to him in recent weeks. 

Derek says he has received very many get well cards, letters and numerous messages from near and far conveyed via wife, Shirley; daughter Vanda and her partner Colin all of which are very much appreciated.

Derek would also like to thank Club Chairman, Phil Taubman MBE for his kind words and good wishes extended at the prize presentation in Castletown Square for the Blackford’s Pre-TT Classic Road Races and the warm reception from those present. Also not forgetting the mentions on Manx Radio during the commentaries of the races at Billown - again most appreciative of the thoughts.

Finally Derek said he has very much missed being ‘busy in the hut’ over the past weeks and especially during the races, but hopes to back ‘back on duty’ in the not too distant future.
