Can you help?
Fault finding on rev counter ... As in what is the fault when the rev counter goes to 7000rpm then back to zero on turn of key? ... thanks

Try the exup valves they may be seized !!

my 2000 R! does the same if it sits more than 24 hours. i stripped it and rebuilt the EXUP but only a couple of months later it returned worse, now it does it when its running. i have read that racers use a dummy cdi box that fools the system into thinking the exup is working and then your ignition map is back to normal
