Volunteers needed for TT research - Anonymous - 15-04-2004 I'm looking for volunteers to participate in an interesting research project at TT 2004. I will be looking at how much body weight is lost by a rider during a race on the mountain circuit. It involves weighing a rider just after scrutineering and then again when you've finished your race or practice. The data will be of interest to everyone as it will show how dehydrated you get when you race. This data can be used to help improve both your performance and safety, as well as to help race organisers to better understand physiological issues affecting riders. As well as riders, I'll need volunteers to do the weighing! If interested please contact me for further details: adamstandring@manx.net 07624 495886 Thanks! I'm sure you'll not be short of riders volunteering, but make sure you get some of the front runners as well. Look forward to reading up the results of your findings ! I would help but with working til 5pm and needing to get out on the course for my own research for the MGP I may not be able to. Re: Volunteers needed for TT research - Anonymous - 15-04-2004 |
