Things are livening up, so what's your predictions? - DBD 34 - 29-05-2018

Weather is fantastic (for now) times are impressive, Dean Harrison on lap record pace, Peter Hickman not far behind with Dan Kneen and Michael Dunlop getting to grips with the ill handling Tyco BMW's. All looking set for a good race on Saturday, just hope this weather holds out.
So who's yer money on?

The way Deano is going he will be hard to beat. Think Hicky will be right on his tail mind you.

Too hard for me to pick this year. Hope the sun keeps on shining.

Harrison looks "on it" at the moment and appears to be the man to beat on the superbikes, but we still have 3 more days of practice and the others have more room for improvement. Hicky is in with a shout in particular on the stocker.

Can't rule out Michael Dunlop on anything yet, think he might win the Lightweight, he was pretty rapid on it first night of practice and he reckons there's more to come from it yet and the more time he gets on the Tyco bike he'll be hard to beat.

So my predictions are...

Superbike - Dean Harrison
Supersport 1 - Michael Dunlop
Superstock - Peter Hickman
Supersport 2 - Michael Dunlop
Lightweight - Michael Dunlop
Senior - Michael Dunlop

Sidecar 1- John Holden/Lee Cain
Sidecar 2 - Ben/Tom Birchall

Zero - A Mugen don't know which one, not really bothered either, I'm not against electric motorcycles, I'm just wondering how much longer they can justify running an event that has about 10 entrants with only 2 of them having any chance of winning. The time it takes to run the race could be set aside for an extra couple of practice laps or something.
