M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 Can anyone tell me why Mr Rutter appears to be the only BSB rider to get his 'own' press release column on this web site? Does he have connections or is he the only rider/team to submit articles to the site? Re: M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 Because he, and his father before him, are respected ex-TT riders. Rutter (plural) are masters of the roads and hence we still take a great interest in what Michael does.... We still hope he may make a return ride at the TT yet !! He certainly showed he is still a roadie at the NW200..... Come back Michael. So what's the problem ? Re: M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 Keep your leathers on Ian,I only asked a straight question,no need to get a strop on.I just thought he seems to get lots of attention even if he has been(or may again) a TT competitor. Re: M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 Not the sort of person to get a strop on, I guarantee, but you have to admit, he can ride most disciplines, exceptionally well..... That is why guys get attention and get written about. Re: M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 No way were my comments to be taken as disrespect to the Rutters race skill on both track or road, just that he appears to be the only one to get coverage. Re: M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 he obviously has good pr men!(or women!), this is where a lot of riders/teams fail , by not making the best of the publicity machine!, ie internet etc. Good luck to Michael Rutter @ Mondello this weekend. Re: M.Rutter - Anonymous - 21-05-2004 If other riders or their PR people send or post news it will be here. The more the merrier, I think. Re: Ago Murphy, TT Rider, Pal - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 OK folks, let me say a few words for my good pal, Kevin Ago Murphy who rides each year at the TT, would love to win sometime, but makes up the list of also-rans without whom the TT would not be the TT....Maybe he's slower than Ade, but he has put some good laps in, and deserves a good run this year... I have supported him for some years now and therefore put him forward as one of the main reasons I changed my mind about coming to this "New T.T." GOOD LUCK AGO..............GO FOR IT !! So now Michael Rutter is not alone on this board... Let us hear it for Kevin Ago Murphy, TT Rider ! Anybody else want to plug someone ? Re: Ago Murphy, TT Rider, Pal - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 was that a dig at me mr huntly? if so, then why? if not, then you're forgiven! ade! nae fechtin noo, boys - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 Go get yourself a Fazer, Ade, and let battle commence! Re: nae fechtin noo, boys - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 isn't that one of those shaving thingies with three blades in it? Re: Ago Murphy, TT Rider, Pal - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 OOOPS, Foot in mouth disease again......... Ah well, Ade, If the helmet fits....as what me old muvver used to say.. A friendly bet perhaps ? Re: Ago Murphy, TT Rider, Pal - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 name your terms :-] ade! p.s. when is this site going to get some emoticons? Re: Ago Murphy, TT Rider, Pal - Anonymous - 22-05-2004 Plug someone why not.Keep your eye on two Norfolk lads in the sidecar event BEN DIXON/MARK LAMBERT could be potential winners if they can get their engine problems sorted. These boys like Norwich are premier league.Guess its all our narrow country lanes which make for good practice Re: Ago Murphy, TT Rider, Pal - Anonymous - 24-05-2004 I am a silly old fool.... (no comments please!) Wasnt it a memory jerker to hear "Rutter and Smart" on the Mondello commentary? ..and when Scot dedicated his win to "Barry, DJ and the others we lost last year ...and Hissy" there wasnt a dry eye in the house..
