Does anyone know any websites or publications which give details about the road tracks used before the Assen TT track was built in 1954?
From the Motogp website: "The circuit (Assen) was purpose built for the Dutch TT in 1954, with previous events having been held on public roads."

I get this address from Gert Meuller who is currently in IOM attending TT. Gert is a real enthuasiast and he may well answer your query when he gets home.
