MATT ROBERTS AND STEVE PLATER TO HOST OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF 2019 ISLE OF MAN TT RACES - Malcolm - 11-01-2019 MATT ROBERTS AND STEVE PLATER TO HOST OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF 2019 ISLE OF MAN TT RACES
Matt Roberts, who fronted ITV4’s coverage of the 2018 TT, and fellow ITV4 presenter Steve Plater, a double TT Race winner, will host the Official launch of the 2019 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy at the Villa Marina on Tuesday 19th March.
The event, which will be streamed live via the iomttraces.com website, will feature many of the leading solo TT riders including Dean Harrison and Peter Hickman, who will no doubt be recalling their epic battle in last year’s PokerStars Senior TT. Other stars lined up to appear in the evening chat show include the returning John McGuinness, sixteen-time race winner Ian Hutchinson and local hero Conor Cummins, who achieved two podiums in 2019. The Sidecar representatives will be headed by Ben and Tom Birchall, double race winners in 2018, who also broke their own sidecar lap record last year. The evening’s show is now well established as the curtain raiser for the road racing season and is a chance for fans to catch up on the latest team and rider plans as well as hearing about their preparations for the new season. Invariably there are also indiscreet revelations, great anecdotes and a chance to see the unique relationships that have been forged between the riders. Doors open at 7.00pm for an 8.00pm start with tickets now available priced at £5 from the Villa Marina box office at http://www.villagaiety.com. If you can’t be on the Island, you will be able to watch the whole event on the live stream hosted via iomttraces.com. |
