Travelling from liverpool - Chrisp955 - 25-05-2019 Just a heads up for anyone departing or returning to Liverpool. Don't leave your bikes unattended. Especially if you are stopping over in a hotel or you are one of the 1st to arrive at the port. Theves where steeling bikes heading to the tt last year. Not heard of any going missing this year so far. But best to be curful. RE: Travelling from liverpool - c iom tt - 25-05-2019 Unfortunately although it is early days, and there have been no bike reported stolen from the Pier Head, there is a moped gang taking helmets off bikes and throwing them in the river. Dont leave your helmets unattended. RE: Travelling from liverpool - H2pots - 26-05-2019 That's the way it is these days. Don't leave your bike unattended. Heysham is a bit better but nowhere is perfect. Some would think it hilarious to throw your lid / keys / gear in the mersey... don't let them have the joke on you. |
