Sites Down - BEWARE of d.o.g. - Anonymous - 28-06-2004

We have a major problem with our server system which has gone down in a big way over the weekend due to some virus or something ! The websites are corrupted and some pages look like coded messages.

It is not just my twelve sites but a multitude using this server (FASTHOSTS) and will take some time to rectify..........

If anyone goes to
www.bbhmg.com or
www.beentheredunnit.com or www.pegasusmotorcycles.com
at this moment,
all they will get is a request for a user name and password....
However, DO NOT fill anything in !!!!

We hope to be back soon !!

Anybody know what's causing this to the websites ???? It really is a PAIN !

no idea ian, but i know how it feels. the host is use for www.cookstown100.co.uk has proved to be unreliable - it went down a couple of times in the week leading up to the race and was hacked by some kiddie-scripters a fortnight later.

i have the site up temporarily with a three page html version until such times as i can confirm what package i have with the company that hosts www.midulsterracing.co.uk, so see if i can add another domain and have enough bandwidth allowance.

It really is a pain since I am told we could be down for a WEEK while the system is "purged" (Sounds rough!)

Computers are becoming similar to CB Radio now with a lot of people trying to wreck it all for the rest of us.........

Some of my colleagues with business sites are now suing the server for loss of business....However it has happened before in a big way in 2001 when a lot of servers crashed and people lost complete sites !!!

we are now transferring some of our sites to www.bbhmg.net to see if we can get up and running again..

Please visit and see us rise, phoenix-like from the ashes !
