CRUTCHLOW CONFIDENT AHEAD OF ALCAÑIZ GP - Malcolm - 23-10-2020 Cal Crutchlow is in positive mood as the MotoGP class prepare for the second of back-to-back races in Aragon. The LCR Honda CASTROL rider enjoyed his best results of the season at MotorLand Aragon last weekend as he secured a top-10 finish after qualifying on the front row and will be hoping to fare even better this time around in the Teruel Grand Prix.
The Briton took eighth place last Sunday, but will be confident of eclipsing that having been hindered by a bad start to the race. It was his pace throughout the duration of the weekend that caught the eye, though, as he finished second in FP3 and third in Q2. With plenty of good information to build on, Crutchlow is looking forward to getting back out on the track. Cal Crutchlow “After a mostly good performance last weekend we go into the second Aragon race aiming to have an enjoyable weekend with the team again. Hopefully we can qualify as well as we did last we last weekend, because that’s always very important for the race now. If we can get a good start and get away with the other riders then I feel we could be in competitive position. Obviously we will try our best as a team. We have some good information from the last race which will help us with tyre choice and so on.” |
