INFORMATION IN ADVANCE OF THE FINAL INSTRUCTIONS

ADMISSION TICKETS & TIMES

The admission tickets riders, officials & marshals will receive are dated for the Saturday. For the avoidance of any doubt, they will also apply for the Friday Test Day.

Admission times to the circuit for riders / teams are from 3pm to 11pm on Thursday, from 7am to 11pm on Friday and from 7am on Saturday. The Chequers Restaurant is open (for Takeaways only) from 7.30am on both Friday and Saturday. The paddock must be vacated after racing ends on Saturday.

NO SPECTATORS!!

MSV, the circuit owners, issued the following statement on the 7th April:

“New guidance was issued by government on 6th April, which contradicts the previous position that spectators would be permitted at non-elite sports events from 12th April onwards. Whilst outdoor attractions like zoos and theme parks can re-open, and events such as boot fairs, steam rallies and food festivals can take place with up to 4,000 visitors per day, a specific ban has been applied to spectators at sport events – even at grassroots level – until 17th May.

So it is frustrating, unfair & illogical – but sadly there is nothing that the Club or the circuit can do about it.

COVID-19 INSTRUCTIONS

Each rider will receive a copy of these Instructions, which are based on the ACU’s Risk Assessment for Road Racing. It is important that these are read and fully understood, and in particular that the simple guidance over social distancing and face-masks are adhered to by the paddock community as a whole. We thank everyone in anticipation of their full co-operation in this regard.

GARAGES

For those who have hired garages, the Covid precautions mean that each garage is restricted to no more than four persons at any one time - and two, or in exceptional circumstances, three machines.

NOISE-TESTING

Noise remains a sensitive issue for the circuit and both static and ride-by testing will apply on both the Friday and the Saturday. The ACU limit of 105dBa applies on both days.

LATE ENTRIES

Most of the solo grids for Saturday are now full or nearly full, although there are a small number of spaces left in some classes, especially Formula 600 and Classic Bikes (but not GP Originals). The grid for sidecars is full.
