Manx money again - Revvin rich - 11-04-2023 I have at least £15 in manx £1coins the old type not the new type from last years TT are they still legal Tender? RE: Manx money again - captainsparkledotcom - 11-04-2023 I don't ever remember them withdrawing the round coins, or even if they've introduced 12 sided ones! Perhaps a local can enlighten us? I have a few myself, & some notes from last year, too! RE: Manx money again - Chris_Sav - 11-04-2023 Round Manx £1 were still about last year as far as I can remember. Go to a Manx bank if not and if you try one enough times they'll go! RE: Manx money again - Alfie Noakes - 11-04-2023 Was back at Christmas and don't recall seeing any update on the pound coins and was spending the same from what I had over from TT/MGP .. RE: Manx money again - taxman - 17-04-2023 We haven't ditched the round pounds so they're all good to go. RE: Manx money again - Nasher - 17-04-2023 I'm a bit confused, do people still use round bits of metal and oblong sheets of paper to pay for things? I remember my grandad telling me about something called cash when I was a nipper - I'm still fairly young, as I'm not 70 until next year! I just wave my phone or use a card for the more expensive purchases..... ....each go their own 😀 7 weeks to go and I'm counting the sleeps |
