Such a shame to loose a wonderful event with an incredible history. Many reasons but the fans just weren’t going in the end. Nowadays you need a dynamic full service event with all the bells and whistles. Asking the masses to come in their droves and stand in a ditch during all weather conditions is a thing of the past. The TT modernised itself and secured its future. Apples to oranges but the UGP is gone forever and it is so sad. In its day some of the best road racing the world has ever seen.

The UGP died for many a reason....still the best imho and I miss it hugely
