cookstown weather - Anonymous - 28-04-2005 I've just been on my favourite weather forecast website and it is predicting 10 hours of rain on Saturday for the Coookstown area with nearly an inch of rain. Depressing or what Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 28-04-2005 Yes it not looking to good for Scottish championships at Knockhill this weekend either according to the forecast ! Here was me thinking that summer was just around the corner, well it was last weekend. cheers, Stella Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 28-04-2005 you two! if they put cookstown and knockhill in the middle of the sahara desert in the middle of july it would still p*ss down. accept it :-] ade! Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 28-04-2005 I couldn`t possibly comment about that ;-) Just hope it dries up for BSB or we will never hear the end of it ! cheers, Stella Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 28-04-2005 You are right there Ade. Been there and got the t shirt (sic) Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 28-04-2005 Ah Stella, the rain will move away nicely before the first race, wait n see. Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 29-04-2005 harvey, i hope you're right. i'd never wish the firth of forth's notorious weather on anybody, but i think there's more chance of the next pope being a black woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ade! Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 29-04-2005 The weather for Cookstown on Saturday is now predicted by two sites including the BBC as for "light rain" The weather site I orginally quoted remains unchanged "heavy rain" Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 29-04-2005 intermediate then? ade! Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 30-04-2005 Please ,please, NEVER trust the BBC weather.Today was supposed to be really warm and sunny here in Lincolnshire.Great day for trade on the market,we thought.Wrong.As we left home it was foggy, raining hard, and didn't clear until after lunch, and now it is slightly sunny. So you see, there could easily be a heatwave at Cookstown.Oops, several pink pigs just flew over---with umbrellas.Lol Re: Re Knockhill weather - Anonymous - 30-04-2005 And according to most weather forecasts up to Friday night we were supposed to be under a few inches of water today, its been very pleasant here today, I even saw the sun as I passed Knockhill earlier, suspect it may be the complete opposite tomorrow though Re: Re Knockhill weather / Today - Anonymous - 01-05-2005 Just home, meeting finally abandoned at 1pm. Woke up to heavy mist and rain not quite what was forecast ie showers !! Possibly running a double meeting on the sat/sun of the Jock Taylor weekend. Should have gone to Oulton......... cheers, Stella |
