WEATHER CONDITIONS - Anonymous - 28-05-2005 My pals have just phoned to say they have had to go on to Heysham to catch the ferry there because the "Fast One" can't "fly" in the high seas/wind..... Pack yer seasickness pills !! After this lovely week it is a bit of a shock !! Re: WEATHER CONDITIONS - Anonymous - 28-05-2005 Yes the weather here on the Island this morning is not very promising at all. Blustery, rain showers and overcast. However the forecast I believe is for it to clear somewhat through the day. Let's hope so. Re: WEATHER CONDITIONS - Anonymous - 28-05-2005 WHile London had the hottest Chelsea Flower Show day ever, we have had November weather this week. I can't remember a May so cold, wet and windy. Last night we had a gale, with some damage caused, and today is freezing, with there are SNOW showers on high hills up north. Everything in the garden has fallen behind. The winter was very dry, but the last two weeks have made up for it. Of course, while I am at the TT there will be a heatwave here and the garden will be parched!! Re: WEATHER CONDITIONS - Anonymous - 28-05-2005 We are watching the BUNGALOW CAMS !! www.dotet.co.uk/bungalow/bungalow_intro.htm This tells us the weather !!! |
