They are off, and head towards Ballakeighan with Englehardt taking the lead followed by Stuart Digby.
Lap 1 at X4 Ways - Eddy Wright, Stuart Digby, Ralf Englehardt, Eddy Toombs, Tony Smith.

9, 12, 14 all go through safely at the end of lap 2.
X4 Ways - Digby, Wright, Englegardt
Eddy Toombs goes through X4 ways with a smoke screen trailing behind his outfit.

Toombs retires at Church Bends on lap 3.
Digby/Thomas are pulling away on lap 4 at X4 Ways from Wright/Wheatley and then comes Englehardt/Viecenz
9, 12, 2, all retire, with only 8 outfits remaining for the start of lap 4.

Last Lap it is Digby out in front by 6.7 secs from Wright and then comes Englehardt.
Pallister comes through in 4th to start his last lap.
X4 Ways, Digby, Wright, Englehardt, Pallister,
Harpham/Toone still circulating although one lap down on Digby.
At the finish line it is Digby/Thomas then Eddy Wright/Neil Wheatley in 2nd with Ralf Englehardt/Winfried Viecenz in 3rd.
Tony Smith/Barry Peperrell go through to start their last lap.
