Re: Irresponsible ? - Anonymous - 04-07-2005

These guys are not journalists at all. They are simply childish brats demonstrating the kind of yob culture football has suffered from and we have largely been free from.
They don't speak for motorcycle racing competitors or enthusiasts. We don't want them.Don't buy their paper.

Re: Irresponsible ? - Anonymous - 04-07-2005

Didn't know people still bought that comic.

Re: Irresponsible ? - Anonymous - 04-07-2005

I don't. The cat refused to have it in her litter tray years ago!

Buy Bikesport News - Anonymous - 04-07-2005

It's good (for reading, not the litter tray) and big Norrie wrote for it latterly.

Re: Buy Bikesport News - Anonymous - 04-07-2005

Re: Buy Bikesport News - Anonymous - 05-07-2005

I've rather lost the thread of this. Please, who or what is irresponsible and which mag is the comic? Thanks.

Re: Buy Bikesport News - Anonymous - 05-07-2005

MCN has for years been nicknamed THE COMIC? as The Witch says BUY BIKESPORT NEWS.

Re: Irresponsible Comic - Anonymous - 05-07-2005

Do you think it is irresponsible or a reporter having a bit of fun ?

http://www.energyfm.net/news/bulletinstory21.htm

Mountain or Molehill ?

Re: Irresponsible Comic - Anonymous - 05-07-2005

Probably both (if you are referring to the MCN reporter on Archibald's bike). I'm just gald I wasn't returning from my quiet early Sunday morning learner's ride at the time.......

Re: Irresponsible Comic - Anonymous - 05-07-2005

Hmmm...more a case of the journalist being a joke, I think.

Re: post TT assessments.... - Anonymous - 06-07-2005

I remember in my youth that the TT-winning machines were ridden out up on the Mountain Mile by a selection of journalists without any major comeback..

I know speeds are different now but they were still riding race machinery on public roads.

However in those days we got a rational and sensible assessment of the bike without us thinking that the writer was a dangerous boasting fool.
