Phone tones - Anonymous - 09-07-2005 Just had to upgrade my mobile phone, the new one plays MP3s as ringtones, after much messing about I now have the sound of John Surtees on the MV as a ringtone, anyone got any ideas as to what else I could use? Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 10-07-2005 Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 10-07-2005 might not be your cup of tea sid, but turn the volume up and open up this website. sounds great to me. ade! http://www.racecorporation.co.uk/ Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 10-07-2005 just for a little experiment I've recorded the sound from that site on my phone and was able to set it as my ringtone. I've a Nokia 6230 and can use the voice recorder to capture any sound and use it as a ringtone mind you nothing beats the frog if you want to annoy people Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 10-07-2005 Some good sound files here as well, mostly TT. http://www.vintagebike.co.uk/Sounds.htm Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 10-07-2005 Great site Sid better than Ade's because i had trouble opening it? but now how do put the sounds on your mobile plz? Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 10-07-2005 Using software supplied with phone, plug phone into computer and then drag over the sound file to the phone.Sorry I can't be more elaborate, try a Google search for your make of phone. best bet is to ask a 10 year old, they know more then I do !! Re: Phone tones - Anonymous - 11-07-2005 Sid I actually had a bit of MGP commentary from the 1996 Lightweight as a ringtone, with Peter Kneale commentating. That was until last thursday when some scum bag b****rd nicked my van, laptop, phone wallet and whatever else was in the van. Sounded good though.
