We are currently in a golden age, with so much factory involvement, and the talent of the riders is truly amazing. The opportunity to see Rossi et al is not one to be scoffed at. Shame it's not Brands, but there you go. Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 19-07-2005 I'm with you. I'd rather cut my privates off with a rusty hacksaw than frequent Donnington Park ever again. Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 19-07-2005 Me no way i am off to Watch REAL ROAD RACING, its cheaper to get to Kells Co Meath than watch racing through a wire fence, Donnington its not for me and i am afraid BSB is also losing touch with the paying spectators. Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 19-07-2005 Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 19-07-2005 So do I. I save my money for the TT-fortnight! Watching MotoGP on Eurosport! During the TT-fortnight I have fun 14 days but during MotoGP only 4 houres. By the way: I have never met such truly racefans outside of the TT.Ask somebody on a MotoGP about Luigi Taveri. He will ask you in which football-club does he play.......... Excuse my poor English :-( Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 19-07-2005 Motorcycle event organisers are going to have to be very careful about admittance prices. The higher they go the more people will stay at home and watch on the telly. I believe this is happening in the UK with speedway. Problem is that the more people staying at home means fewer pounds through the turnstiles which then may cause serious concerns for promoters. Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 20-07-2005 They say the best things in life are free. This remains true for spectators at the TT and the Manx. It is just the $2000 air fare!! Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 20-07-2005 Possible problems re the speedway jan is that over here Sky give excillent tv coverage too ! Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 20-07-2005 Ok Don so the TT and the MGP are free? i dont think so if its free who pays my boat and hotel and were do i send my expesses to? the Steam Racket Co. PS: incidently i travelled with the Racket last week nothing has changed 30 late into Douglas on Mon 11th July no explanation and 30 mins at Lpool waiting for you baggage again no explanation? Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 20-07-2005 Pykey you are close enough to swim!! Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 20-07-2005 Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 21-07-2005 Entry prices have stopped me going to Scarbrough, the price doesn't quite justify the day out. I considered Moto GP or Kells this weekend, stupid consideration. The guinness will be flowing! Re: Moto GP - Anonymous - 24-07-2005 |
