Race Day 1 at the MGP - Anonymous - 29-08-2005 Line up for today is as follows:- Roads Closed - 09:30 - 17:15 (approx) Newcomers Race (4 laps - 150.92 miles) Start Engines (warm up) - 09:30 Competitors Line Up - 10:00 Race Start - 10:15 Senior Classic (4 laps - 150.92 miles) Start Engines (warm up) - 12:30 Competitors Line Up - 13:00 Race Start - 13:15 Update - Anonymous - 29-08-2005 They're Off - Anonymous - 29-08-2005 And they are go with Brett Crossley and Lee Salt setting off towards Bray Hill. (They go off in two's at the MGP unlike the TT) Followed by Neil McWhirter & Denis Murphy Tim Maher & Dennis Booth Stuart Bainborough on his own Stelphen McIlvenna James McCall Neil Vicars James Stuart Paul Judge Garth Woods Craig Beech Jim Lea Steve Handley Marie Hodgson Russel Brown stalls at the start, but has got it going again andoff he goes. Glen Helen - Lap 1 - Anonymous - 29-08-2005 First through is Brett Crossley leading Denis Murphy by some distnace, Lee Salt comes through now a long way back, then Davy Clarke. Placings Brett Crossley Scott Wilson Davy Clarke Chris Foster Dennis Murphy Sam Dunlop comes throughleading the C Class (125 - 400) Ramsey - Lap 1 - Anonymous - 29-08-2005 Brett Crossley comes through with a long lead on the road. Next is Dennis Murphy, then Neil McWhirter and Tim Maher close behind him. Davy Clarke comes through, then Stuart Bainborougha nd Stephen McIlvenna, and then Dennis Booth and Lee Salt, next comes James McCall. Scott Wilson comes through along way back, then Bill Collister, Neil Vicars, Jim Lea and Craig Beach. Murphy then comes through on his own, next is Neil McWhirter and Davy Clarke a short distance behind him. (dropped a valve) Next man through is Neil McWhirter, Tim Maher, then Davy Clarke. Crossley in and out, McWhirter in, Clarke coms in, Maher goes out, McWhirter fires up and off he goes, in is McIlvenna and off he goes, Foster just comes in, Bainborough comes in and Foster getson the gas, next is Boot and Craig Beech, then Bisson and Callister. Next is Beech and now its Bisson, Nigel John is in the pits for fuel and off he goes. Crossley way out in front here and on his way up towards the Gooseneck. Next on the road is Tim Maher safely through, then McWhirter, then Clarke, next comes McIlvenna. A long gap to Chris Foster, and another long gap to Scott Wilson, Craig Beech wind sit on up the hill, Placings.
