Go boys! Talent will out! - ade! - 19-11-2005 cameron donald SOUNDS scottish ade! - Stella - 19-11-2005 - GriffMuss - 19-11-2005 Wow such a close race and so many Brits in the race ! Well Done to them all. - thewitch - 19-11-2005 Wow! well done our boys...it would be good to have that Macaun rider at the TT? - Chris Maybury - 19-11-2005 Stella Wrote:Great result for Les and Steve ....Very Well Deserved !!!!! Nothing like the "Sound of The Pipes" Stella, I just wish that we could race on "open" ones occasionally. - thewitch - 19-11-2005 Just felt indignant enough to email the BBC to point out that Les Shand is NOT English...British maybe, but definitely SCOTTISH, as is Steve Allan. (Rant over) - Jan Grainger - 19-11-2005 Shall have to try and find out where this 'Cameron Donald' hails from in Oz. His name doesn't ring a bell with me, but it definately sounds Scottish, doesn't it. - larryd - 19-11-2005 Bloody good ride by Stephen Thompson. God help us, we have in this part of the world a journalist who writes on two-wheeled sport for the "Belfast Telegraph". In tonight's issue, he sings the praises of the Ulster riders at Macau (all except one) and adds a mention of Martin Finnegan who, "although a Southern rider, competes in our road races here in the North". He doesn't, however, even give a name check to Keith Stewart, whose first time at Macau it was and who finished 18th - a good ride. In my humble opinion, anyone who rides there has got test tickles like grapefruit. But then, as far as Mr Jimmy Walker is concerned, anyone who gets lapped is completely off the radar, obviously. Sad. Well done Keith  - ade! - 20-11-2005 good ride by ALL OF THEM larry. they done us proud. see ya next year, this time for a pint ade! DNS - ian huntly - 21-11-2005 I read that a number of riders did not start the race, as a tribute to Bruno.... Does anyone know who they were ??? - Arthur Lawn - 21-11-2005 I read that a number of mainland european riders started but pulled in after 1 lap as a mark of respect - Harvey T - 21-11-2005 Pere Riba didn't race. |
