Sad news:- Bruno Bonhuil - GriffMuss - 19-11-2005

Paul Philips posted this terrible news on RRR THIS MORNING:-

We regret to inform everyone that French former World Endurance Champion and TT regular Bruno Bonhuil lost his life in Morning Warm Up for todays Macau Motor Cycle Grand Prix. Our thoughts are with Bruno's family and friends

This is indeed tragic news.
Such a likeable and experienced racer.
Sincere sympathies to his family and friends.

I was so sad to hear of Bruno's death. A great rider, a huge fan of real road racing, and a lovely man. My thoughts are with his family.

Really sad and it takes the edge off the event. RIP.

Great Sorrow - ian huntly - 19-11-2005

I, like most TT fans, am shocked to read of the death of Bruno.

Macau is not the safest cicuit, but generally has a good record considering the narrowness of the road and all the barriers.

It has really been an awful year, and we sit here hoping that 2006 will be safer and happier.

Such a nice fellow, The TT will miss him !!

i echo all this, as my old mate crazy blanket said to me earlier it's a sad end to a sad year!

Very sad news, a sad way to end the year.
Our sympathies to Bruno's family and friends.

Another courageous rider rides out of our lives. I had ridden with Bruno at the TT a couple of times, but I had met him frequently when he stayed with my pal Richard Rose in Laxey. What a lovely man. He really enjoyed coming to the Island, rode it very sensibly(with one exception), and had a very professional approach to his motorcycle racing.
There will be many who will miss this likeable Frenchman from Reims, and my deepest sympathy goes to his wife and family.
