Unpaid volunteer? Lol Lol

- larryd - 15-03-2006

Sorry Paul - I've stayed away from this since I last impugned your honour, but really you've gone too far this time.

Just volunteered did he??

Came out of the blue did he???

Answer to a maiden's prayer was he????

Boy are you getting led by the nose.

I seriously & strongly suggest that you tell whoever's writing your scripts to deliver them him/her self, before your street cred disappears completely.

For your own sake . . . . . . . .

Paul Philips said:-

"The MMCC and DTL gladly accepted Barry's kind offer to get involved on a voluntary basis",

Quote:-

A leading motor cycle sport technical expert has been RECRUITED to join the TT team------

BARRY SAID:- I am delighted to have been asked to be involved in the 2006 IOM TT.

Yeah, volunteered did he?

Yoooheeee, Wakey Wakey. Time to wake up and smell the coffeeee!!

(Jimmy Baker Corporal, Troop C, 1st Batt, Glorious Gloucesters, Imjin River, Korea 1951) You fool!!! Don't expose yourself and draw enemy fire your mates will get annoyed and fall out with you.

Funny how being the most experienced scruitineer in the uk can get you a job assisting the existing Technical Officials yet years of TT course experience counts for nothing if you want a TT course licence?

According to the 2006 TT Regs, Harvey Garton is the Chief Technical Officer, Barry Hibbert is the Technical Steward.

According to the ACU Handbook, 2006, Barry Hibbert is an "International Technical Official", exactly the same as Harvey Garton and Chris Rowe and quite a few more.

Isnt he also Chief Scrutineer, sorry, Technical Official, at Darley Moor, you know, Eddie Nelsons club, I think, in fact, Im pretty sure he is

Hes definetly Chief Technical Official at EMRA meetings at Mallory Park.

Two more questions:

1. Who is paying Barry's fare to the IOM?
2. Who is paying Barry's hotel bill on the IOM?

I have never taken this advice but it is hard to refute.

You blokes have got a point here.

There's no way this Hibbert bloke should be allowed to add his expertise to the event.

I hope if he does he gives up his time and takes all the rubbish - out of his own pocket.

Let's force him to remortgage his house and charge him the 25 quid course license fee n'all.

After all it's all an ACU conspiricy to stop the event.

This years TT is certainly heading to being the worst and most corrupt crime in motor sport history.

The sooner it's banned the better.................

Disgusted!

Sam

Whilst were on the subject of the scurge.

It has come to my attention............

That well meaning volunteers all over the world are puting time and good faith into sports of all kinds. I feel safe in the knowledge that I know there is a body of upstanding citizens capable of heading off this horror.

Give yourselves a pat on the back.
