TT Superbike Race - Its Go - Malcolm - 03-06-2006 Guy Martin takes it away from the front, Next is Jason Griffiths followed by John McGuinness and then Paul Hunt. Bruce Anstey takes off, Martin Finnegan. Archie having some problems finding the gears, Ian Hutchinson is away, Ian Lougher takes off, then Raymond Porter followed by Cameron Donald and Davy Morgan then Ian Armstrong, Chris Heath, Mark Parrett, Carl Rennie, Nigel Beattie, Gary Carswell (front wheel in the air), John Barton, Chris Palmer - Malcolm - 03-06-2006 Glen Helen Lap 1 First Through is Guy Martin, then comes Griffiths and McGuinness closing in, next is Paul Hunt and then Martin Finnegan, Hutchinson comes through ahead of Archie, then Lougher. Anstey retires at Crosby. Raymond Porter comes through, then Cameron Donald closing in, next is Ian Armstrong then a gap to Chris Heath John Barton goes through, then Chris Palmer. Les Shand goes through, then Ian Pattinson. John McGuinness comes through followed by Jason Griffiths; a gap to Paul Hunt and right behind him is Martin Finnegan, then a gap to Ian Hutchinson, then comes Ian Lougher, then Archibald comes through. Next on the road is Cameron Donald and Davy Morgan on his tail. Chris Heath and Mark Parrett come through together, Beattie comes through very neatly. Dean Sylvester comes through safely. McGuinness is in the stop box at 127.93 mph (another lap record) Next in is Griffiths as McGuinness goes out and he is "on it" Hutchinson is now in, then Finnegan, then Paul Hunt, and Lougher. First out of all that lot is Griffiths, then Hutchinson and Lougher on his tail, the Hunt and then Martin Finnegan (losing a bit of time with his stop). Cameron Donald comes in, then Raymond Porter, Carl Rennie comes in, Mark Parrett is in, Chris Heath is in, Davy Morgan goes out, John Barton comes in, Gary Carswell is in, then Chris Palmer. McGuinness comes through looking good and then Jason Griffiths a long way back with Hutchinson on his tail and Lougher closing in, Then comes Finnegan and Hunt together. Then a gap to Cameron Donald and Raymond Porter. A gap to Raymond Porter and then Armstrong, Parrett and Rennie all together on the road. Next man through is Walter Cordoba who has been lapped by McGuinness already. Next is Hutchinson, Lougher and Griffiths all close together. Finnegan and Hunt come through safely. Barry Wood comes through safely, then Cameron Donald ahead of Raymond Porter. Davy Morgan comes through and winds it up to the limit, then Rennie and Armstrong and Parrett on his tail. Lougher and Hutchinson go out together, Big H comes in, Finnegan is off and away down the road followed by Griffiths. Now a long way back to the next man through. Lougher comes through and then Ian Hutchinson. A gap to Finnegan and then Griffiths. Paul Hunt then comes through a little way back. Chris McGahan comes through, now it's Chris Petty and then Andrew Marsden Lougher comes through and he winds it on as he goes up the hill, Hutchinson appears to be dropping back a little on Lougher Finnegan goes through (without his trademark backwheel first entry) Griffiths goes through Cameron Donald goes through.
