What are the TT organisers playing at?? I thought the number three plate was retired in memory of Joey yet I see in MCN Adrian Archibald carrying the number three plate on board the TAS Suzuki!! No harm to Adrian but what an insult to the great man. Let's all lobby these beaurocrats and make sure the number "3" is retired and properly so.

I POSTED THIS NEARLY THREE YEARS AGO AND AS JOEY WOULD SAY THOSE FRIGGERS WILL DAM AUL...AND LIGHT THE No 3 LIGHTS AT THE SAME TIMES AS JOEYS FASTEST LAP...
THE I.O.M MADE A LOT OF MONEY OVER THE 20+ YEARS OF HIS PARTICIPATION OF THE tt.
AFTER ALL IT WAS HIS NUMBER EVEN WHEN THE No1 SPOT WAS HIS ANYTIME IF HE WANTED IT BUT HE STUCK WITH 3..
A.C.U DONT BE A T U R D JOEY'S PLATE WAS ALWAYS THE BOTTOM OF A THIRD..3 OK.

I've only just heard about the number "3" plate getting used at this years TT. In the same vain as other messages I do not wish any rider using it any bad will. I simply feel it should have been retired for good as a mark of respect to Joey. I hope others feel as strongly and take steps to sort this out.
