Gwen is my fathers God Mother and very close to our family...her laughter will be much missed. - Fitz - 14-12-2006 Alex, I am sure Gwen would be delighted to be surrounded by Bikes, no matter whether you raced or just take pleasure in bikes, bikers to Gwen were her life. Show up on your bike mate for sure - thewitch - 14-12-2006 Fitz is right. in life Gwen never made a difference between first and last.... all riders in any race were heroes to her. Anyway, you're kind of family. See you there. You are SO right about her laughter...she will be having a laugh up there with Peter Jarmann, I bet! - thewitch - 16-12-2006 Many happy memories recalled, and great tributes paid to a great lady today. Now here's a funny thing...two rows in front of me was a prominent official in motorcycling, and, during the service, a LADYBIRD wandered up his back, meandering along slowly. When I told the monister about this, he immedoately said "That would be Gwen". Never seen that happen before...... |
