Thanks Ian, I love the article about the Course car being a Jolly, could not agree more - The TT is a Motorcycle race.

Liked the article on the inspection car brought back memories of when it used to be an open top MG sports car with the chief constable sitting bolt upright in the passenger seat with his white helmet on.
However on a serious note I can see what the article is getting at as in 2004 when watching the post tt races on the Southern 100 course I was appalled to see the way the inspection car was being driven.At Crossways it was tyres shreiking leaving rubber on road exactly as one would see in a car rally or touring car race.Not a good example for little purpose.
