Sidecar Race A - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 The weather here is fabulous this afternoon with the sun cracking the flagstones. So soo different to this morning. Kinners is out and about having a chat with the boys on the grid. This oculd be a cracker of a race this year, with Nick and Dan on song and Moly suffering severe engine problems this week. 15:45 on the button and they are away with Moly leading off. Next is Nick and Dan - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Lap 1 at Glen Helen It's Moly though first on the road with Nicky Crowe sitting about 50 yds behind him. Klaffi is stopped at Ballacraine making adjustments - He is out. Leaders Nicky Crowe +5 John Holden +3 Steve Norbury +0.5 sec Dave Molyneux +3 Allan Schofield Simon Neary Andy Laidlow Gary Horspole Phil Dongworth Gary Bryan - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Lap 1 at Ramsey Report that Nicky Crowe and Dan Sayle touring at Quarry Bends and have pulled in at the Sulby Glen Hotel. Molyneux goes through at Ramsey Steve Norbury comes through safely. First through on the road is Moly, 110.76mph A long gap back to Steve Norbury 110.46mph Now John Holden followed by Simon Neary (back up and running) Laidlow and Hanks go through one after the other Schoffield goes through followed by Elmer Positions Holden +8 Moly +1.2 Norbury +13 Neary Schoffiled Harrison Horspole Connole Elmer Laidlow Bryan Dongworth Hanks Greg Lambert retired at the 27th. - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Lap 2 at Glen Helen Holden +12 Norbury Molyneux Neary Schoffield Horspole Laidlow Elmer Bryan Dongworth - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Lap 2 at Ramsey Moly creeping back up to 2nd place out there before entering Ramsey. (Nicky Crowe out with gearbox problems at Sulby) First through on the road is Moly then a gap to Norbury Holden now comes through and looks good, then Neary follows through. A long gap now back to Laidlow closely followed by Hanks and then Horpsole follows. Next is Bryan and then Dongworth, next Schoffield. Next through comes Elmer and then a long gap to Glyn Jones Positions. Holden +12 Molyneux +3 Norbury Neary Schoffield Horspole Elmer Laidlow Bryan Dongworth - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 End of Lap 2 at the Grandstand - Start of Last Lap Moly is pulling the time back and is reported to be about 4 seconds behind John Holden out at the Bungalow. Positions Holden +1.8 Molyneux +13 Norbury +19 Schoffield Neary Horspole Elmer Laidlow Bryan Dongworth - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Last Lap at Glen Helen Moly comes through first on the road, then a gap to Steve Norbury. A long gap now, and here comes Holden. It looks like Moly has pulled himself up to 1st place Simon Neary goes through Laidlaw goes through, then Hansk and Schoffield on his tail. Next comes Dongworth Positions Holden + 0.14 Molyneux + 13 Norbury Neary Schoffield Elmer Laidlaw Bryan Dongworth Hanks - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Last Lap at Ramsey At the rate he is pulling back the time, Moly is in the lead on the road and must surely be in the lead on corrected time. Moly comes through looking very good and has the bit between his teeth now. A long gap now back to Norbury, and then another gap to Holden. A really long gap now as we wait for Schoffield and then Laidlow together, now comes Roy Hanks close behind them. Next is Bryan and Dongworth close together. Positions Molyneux +3.2 Holden +18 Norbury +21 Neary + 3 Schofield Elmer Laidlow Bryan Dongworth Hanks - Malcolm - 04-06-2007 Finish Line at the Grandstand And first across the line is Moly. Holden comes across the line and Moly is declared the winner by 6.5 seconds. Steve Norbury is declared third.
