Sidecar Race B - Race - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Start Line So they are off with Moly making it to the grid and taking off down Glencrutchery. Nicky Crowe guns it off the line and is followed by Steve Norbury. Next away is Klaffi and then goes Simon Neary, next is Roy Hanks, then John Holden. Away goes Andy Laidlow in the Jock Taylor colours, nextis Phil Dongworth, then goes Gary Bryan, next is Gary Horsepeole, then Greg Lambert, - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Lap 1 - Glen Helen First through on the road is Moly with Nicky Crowe very close behind him. Next its Norbury and Klaffi also close together Neary is next, then comes Holden (blowing blue smoke), Next its Roy Hanks, and then Laidlow and then Bryan. Positions Crowe +2.5 Klaffi +0.5 Holden Moly +4.5 Dongworth Norbury Schofield Neary Bryan Horsepole - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Lap 1 - Ramsey Crowe clocks 143 through Sulby, but Holden clocks 144. Crowe is first through on the road and Moly is nearly in there with them he is so close. Next its Klaffi and then Norbury Holden goes through (still blowing smoke) Hanks out at Kirk Michael. Next through is Norbury, then Laidlow and Dongworth close together, Next is Bryan and then Horsepole, next in is Lambert and then Schofield next is Elmer. Now its Stockton, next is Glyn Jones Positions. Now its Holden, now comes Laidlow and Dongworth on his tail Positions Crowe +14.7 Moly +7 Holden +3 Klaffi +19 Norbury +9 Schofield +0.8 Neary Dongworth Horsepole Laidlow - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Lap 2 - Glen Helen Crowe comes through first on the road and appears to be stretching the lead. Moly comes through and a gap back to Klaffi. Norbury comes through safely, Neary goes through then a gap to Laidlow, then its Horsepole and Bryan who come through here. Next is Schofield, then a gap to Elmer. Glyn Jones goes through. Kenny Howells goes through, then Harrison. Positions Crowe +20 Moly +8 Holden +3 Klaffi +22 Norbury Schofield Neary Horsepole Laidlow Bryan - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Lap 2 - Ramsey Crowe comes through first on the road and it sounds sweet. Ooops, sounds like he missed a gear going up the hill. Moly now comes through but the gap seems to be stretching. A big gap now to Klaffi, now its Holden and Norbury close together. Now its Neary and a very long gap to Laidlow, then comes Horsepole. A gap to Bryan and close is Schofield Positions. Crowe +31 Moly +8 Holden +12 Klaffi +27 Schofield Norbury Neary Horsepole Laidlow Elmer - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 End of Lap 2 - Start of Last Lap Crowe comes over the line and he is flying and he takes the lap record at 116.667 mph Moly now goes through and is some 38 seconds behind. A big gap to Klaffi and then comes Holden. Neary comes through, Report that Crowe is stopped at Ballahutchin Laidlow and Horsepole go through. Schofield goes through. Bryan goes through. Position Crowe +38 Moly + Holden Klaffi Schofield Norbury Neary Horsepole Elemr Laidlow - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Last Lap at Glen Helen Crowe is a confirmed retirement (engine failure) Klaffi is also a retirement at Union Mills Moly is now in the lead and runs through here sounding ok, Holden runs through, next is Norbury, a very long gap to Horsepole and Laidlow together and then close is Schofield. Next its Bryan and then a gap to Elmer Positions Moly +14 Holden Schofield Norbury Neary Connole Harrison Horspole Jones Elmer Laidlow Bryan - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Last Lap at Ramsey And Moly makes it through safely, Holden goes through (not smoking this time), now its Norbury, and a gap to Neary. A long gap now to Schofield (with a bump on the front), Laidlow comes through safely. Now its Bryan Dongworth retires. Positions Moly +18 Holden +56 Schofield +2 Norbury Neary Elmer Laidlow Bryan - Malcolm - 06-06-2007 Finish Line Molyneux makes it a double as he crosses the line (with Hutchi's spare engine in the bike), and that is his 13th TT win. Holden, Norbury and Neary all cross the line. Ooooh - scandal - Schofield was incorrectly black flagged apparently and lost so much time that he dropped down the finishers list. He may be credited with time and this may well affect the top 3 placings.
