As some of you will know, my grandson Jake's hero is Guy Martin, but he now has another! While he and his Mum and sister were organising themselves for lunch at Quarterbridge, he spilled very hot soup on himself.
A man came and helped, dealt with the burns, and as the day went on kept checking that Jake was all right.
Mary, his Mum was so distraught she didn't recognise him at first, but later realised it was John Reynolds... we always thought he was a hero anyway.
