That is superb Pat is my hero pity the IOM didnt invite him over this year and i do know he would have come but the powers that be thought otherwise, anyone remember my postings earlier in the year?

Nice article, good to see him looking so well.
Remember Suzuki signing him and it gave our Bazzer a right wake up call cos PH was so bloody quick and wasn't the normal '2nd fiddle' BS was used to.

Thats really great to see.
It makes a change from seeing an ex racers n me here and almost being afraid to open the post..
Pat truly WAS a great rider and gave us so much pleasure.
After all these years, I hadnt realsed that a bird strike caused the hgh speed crash, that fateful day at Bishopscourt.
That Suziki team certainy had some bad luck.
My last vivid memory of Pat Hennen was the sight of him neck and
neck alongside Tom Herron along the Cronk y Voddy straight!
Tom was using his hand like a jockey with a whip.

Helen i dont want to have a go at BS seeing his no longer with us but Pat as we all know was a great threat at the time and my late mate JG Williams told me some great tales but it was in a book published about 1977 called Suzuki but i cant recall the auther? in the book Barry asked 'where are my bikes for Chimmay' and the boss of Suzuki replied ' JG has them for the IOM' BS wasnt happy. By the way does anyone know were a could get my hands on this book i have tried most outlets but it went out of print years ago.

Have a look on ebay, or try http://www.abebooks.co.uk. You need the exact title and if you have an author or a publisher it helps make sure you get the right book.
