Isle of Man Steam Packet Company - thewitch - 09-01-2008 Just been listening to an interview on Manx Radio. Didn't make notes so, apologies to all if there's inaccuracies, and I hope Laura or other IOMSPC staff will post corrections if need be. (It would good if they included us in their Press Releases, too). The Company will return to the full name Isle of Man Steam Packet Co, as people indicated they didn't like the Steam Packet Co title. The timetable is now printed in the brochure... another response to public opinion... the TT part is too big to print, with 250 extra sailings, so it will be available online from tomorrow. - MV - 09-01-2008 We indicated that we were not over the moon with the sevice but it made little difference that I can se as yet. Still, lets keep an open mind and wait and see. Perhaps going back to the traditional name will restore traditional values and standards? - alf885 - 09-01-2008 I hope not MV, I'm not letting them pump my tank out and then lash my bike to the bridge! alf - thewitch - 09-01-2008 Swingin' in the rain, just aswingin' in the rain! - pykey - 09-01-2008 Helen the superseacat is going to be called VIKING SEACAT when it resumes sailings after its MOT in Glastone dry dock subject to permission? - y2blade - 09-01-2008 alf885 Wrote:I hope not MV, I'm not letting them pump my tank out and then lash my bike to the bridge! alf me neither!!!! - sticky - 09-01-2008 It gets better.
