It's good news week! - thewitch - 20-01-2008 OK... this week I am looking for HAPPY stories... here's a start. It's only 125 days until the start of the 2008 TT (got the bike ready?). All the big names are coming, including some new ones, like Tim Reeves. Moly's got a new bike and a lovely new passenger, who really, really wants that winner's rep (welcome Bludge!) The sun is going to shine from Easter until November (well, I hope it is) - larryd - 20-01-2008 Southern 100 Pre-TT regs are out, and the Steam Packet's been booked, at a substantial reduction on last year's fare :!: :!: - thewitch - 20-01-2008 Way hay hay!!! - John Foster - 20-01-2008 ..........and the Steam Packet are investing in a new craft to make sure that Larry and Jane will travel in comfort. - Tel - 20-01-2008 Pay day and the MMCC dinner on friday. - thewitch - 20-01-2008 Two strokes are back... and I hear a few have been bought by interesting people! - sticky - 20-01-2008 2 strokes are back on the short circuits too. After the Anti Cycle Union cocked up the 250 championship last year by insisting riders bought new tyres for each round, they've handed it off to the NGRRC to run: http://www.ngroadracing.org/ And also the interesting new Thundersport GB series (see GP2): http://www.thundersportgb.com/ Great news for Andy Smith getting on the side of Moly. I've had the pleasure of writing reports for Gloucestershire's papers about his previous exploits and I hope I'll have something REALLY good to write about this year. Oh, and it's just over a month before the racing season starts again - thewitch - 20-01-2008 Any reports on Andy's progress greatly appreciated here too! Wonder if he'll convince Moly to take up trials.. - sticky - 23-01-2008 I spoke to Andy last night. He says he's never been so excited or positive about a forthcoming season. I really hope the partnership works well as he really deserves a TT win.
