I hope that's happening again because I enjoyed that more than the Honda day, I went to both albeit late on at Peel. JT was good though. alf - Fitz - 28-01-2008 However Adrian Earnshaw confirmed on Manx Radio that Honda have not fallen out with the TT and there was no complaint from Honda about receiving a trophy with Yamaha on it. I think if we have Yamsey, Suzuki day, some teams inviting us to meet them, all the various clubs eg Ducati Club, Vincent Club etc, and TTwebsite's early morning bus, we will probably not notice there isn't a Honda Day. It will leave Peel clear for those of us who want an ice cream and can't stand crowds! I went to Honda Day once and it was Hell... so many people funnelled into a tiny space.....aaaaaaaargh! :twisted: - Charlie Beesa - 28-01-2008 I think Suzuki should jump in here. Honda, God bless 'em, have cornered the TT for well over a decade now. The Suzuki Village adjacent to the grandstand in the late 1990s was an excellent attraction. It must have cost them a bomb though when they offered anyone with a Suzuki a free service and oil change. They had bikes queuing and tented up overnight it was that popular. Which brings me nicely onto my next point. What sort of person takes their pride and joy to the Isle of Man TT motorcycle races without it having had a very recent oil change and service?? I think the fact that so many Suzuki owners proved themselves to be such tight arses, that Suzuki must have seen a cross-section of their target market and said stuff it. Quite poor I thought from such a big company especially the bikes they were showing nothing more than you could see at the back of the grandstand. I am not saying I am glad they are not there this year because they are a massive part of the TT's history but I won't miss the Honda day, more I will miss Honda's input, here's hoping they will soon return in force. - thewitch - 31-01-2008 It would be nice to see something new on the Sunday in Peel.
