Well done Bob - ali - 16-03-2008 I know this is not bikes, but aunty helen has given me permission to put this here, some of you may know bob from the paddock at S100 he might even have polished your bikes. Bob has tonight been crowned THE CHAMPION OF CASTLETOWN CROWN GREEN BOWLS he is only 14 and in the history of the club he is the youngest person to ever win the championship. his tally this year for his 1st full season was 5 runners-up 2 wins and all points totted up gained him the rose bowl and in the merit league for island wide finished 22 out of over 100 for his division. ONE VERY PROUD MUMMY XXX RE: Well done Bob - thewitch - 16-03-2008 Bob and his family do so much for racing... you all know Ali if you've done the Southern... she's the Mad Cow who serves you your burgers... and Andy is a Steward today at Jurby. Apart from polishing bikes and walking competitors dogs, Bob cat sits for me from time to time. As half the S100 committee are members of the bowling club too, you will know it was a great night.
