At last a suitable solution to the problem of getting to the Island and totaly avoids the problems of the steam packet..... bring it on.

Best idea I've seen for years. Perhaps we could incorporate it into the TT, instead of Governor's Bridge... got more scale to it.
See the Alf Priolo section in the Manx Museum for some of his other schemes. He was a cousin of Heath Robinson.

So what will they do with the little used tunnel then? Just shut it down I suppose. Can't see why they need a bridge as well. Bah!! Humbug!!
