It was the late great Mike, in 1963. He was visiting Reg Dearden, whose place was near Granada studios, when some studio runner came in and asked Reg if he knew any likely bikers to act as noisy hooligans whizzing down Inkerman Street, and he promptly volunteered SMBH, who apparently really enjoyed the visit to the set. |
