Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Tom Loughridge - 17-05-2008 Michael Dunlop wins NW200 350 race from McGuines. Awesome race to watch, his dad would be proud. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Helena Finnegan - 17-05-2008 What a great win for Michael, he really did his Dad proud it was a great race to watch & so brave of Michael to go out and race. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - GREEBA#94 - 17-05-2008 I think that young man showed great courage.he has brought tears to my eyes this morning, he is an inspiration to anyone in adversity. Well done Michael. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Tel - 17-05-2008 Well done Micky, proud of you. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Tom Loughridge - 17-05-2008 There will be a lot of tears shed at Garryduff tomorrow This must surely a piece of road racing history. Hard to believe on Monday night I was in Tilly Molloys, Armoy drinking tea and eating traybakes with Robert and all the families of of the original Armoy Armada Joey, Mervyn and big Frank. The Dunlops a road racing dynasty. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - David Griffiths - 17-05-2008 This might be a big call, but has there ever been a greater and more courageous performance in road racing history? I certainly can't think of one. Simply incredible. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - FC - 17-05-2008 This has to be one of the all time greatest wins, well done RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - GriffMuss - 17-05-2008 Lucky enough to have access at NObles today as working and saw Michael's incrediable win, his dad would be so proud of him today, what courage to find the strength to go out there and join in the family history of winners. OUTSTANDING RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - 2 stroke nod - 17-05-2008 Michael said "I had to do it for him. I am so proud. It's my dad's home circuit and he was my best friend round here" RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Fitz - 17-05-2008 That was the gutsiest performance I have ever seen and I am not ashamed to say I was in bits this morning when Michael won. I reckon Robert was riding with him and that was worth a few miles an hour. You could tell in the last couple of miles that nothing was going to stop Michael from winning. Even when I replayed the story to my other half this evening I was cholked up talking about it. That has to be the bravest performance in an sport ever the likes of which I don't think will ever be repeated. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Bucknall Bends - 17-05-2008 That win will be told, re told and told again, long after we're all gone. And to think, we saw it. Magic. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Stella - 17-05-2008 Watched that race today and could not believe the courage that the boys showed as they appeared for the warm up lap. Then when Michael decided to race i think i rode every inch with him. Never seen such a good 250 dice for many a long year, was willing him on and cried openly watching the last lap. He did himself, his family but most of all his daddy proud Unbelievable days racing, hence my post to Mervyn Whyte. RE: Dunlop Wins 250 NW 200 - Shaun Harris - 17-05-2008 Micheal, WOW MAN, you have stepped up to the FAMILY PLATE mate, your DAD MUM and Family will all be so proud of you I was stunned, but NOT surprised to see that you were racing, must be some thing in the DUNLOP blood, that you obviously have, thanks for your work. |
