The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - cargo - 02-06-2008 Now we continue in a new thread I do this because we will soon have a new charactor in our sorry tale. A stout hardy soul be is too with a heart of gold. "I beeilt me a hoose you knooo" Our heros grand adventure is nearly over certainly any attempt at riding a motorcycle is now finished. But enter stage right (or is it left?) the real heros of the piece rushing to his aid. Will his mood allow it? RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - pykey - 02-06-2008 Get well soon Larry RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - larryd - 02-06-2008 You mean my pride, Pykey? That's all that was hurt - until, that is, Boakesy gave a certain picture CD to the Witch . . . . . . . . . Conspiracy, is what it is. Bloody good photographer, though. RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - cargo - 02-06-2008 And so as our story nears conclusion our now chaste hero starts to pick himself up as the real heros close in to provide assistance. Little does our hero know that he is about to meet a Gorselea legend. RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - cargo - 02-06-2008 Yes folks it's DSM Berrie moonlighting from his usual occupation of world champion plane washer and super speedie house builder. DSM Berrie get to grips with the situation and offers our hero a hug sadly the photographer missed the kiss RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - boakesey - 02-06-2008 Quote "sadly the photographer missed the kiss" End Quote No I didn't - they both gave me one. A kiss, I mean. Boakesey (of the female persuasion before anyone asks!) RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - dieselglider - 02-06-2008 cargo Wrote:Yes folks it's DSM Berrie moonlighting from his usual occupation of world champion plane washer and super speedie house builder. Hmmm, are those his gardening gloves, or his dishwashing duty gloves?? RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - DCLUCIE - 02-06-2008 I think Larry maybe wanting his sandwiches back that he kept in that space under his seat and Reg has got him away so he can nick Larry's secret recipe for his famous vinaigrette. RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - cargo - 02-06-2008 Two more to go... In this our penultimate shot our hero is dragged to safty by DSM Berrie Of course our heros mod is still not good but when he discovers where his rescuer marshals normally and who he is then his mood improves. "Good grief" he mutters "what will JF and Cargo make of this? I'd better behave" But alas it's too late news of the incident had already been picked up by a stray Gorselea pidgeon and delivered to PSM RE: The Devlin Incident part two the rescue - cargo - 02-06-2008 And finally A close up of our hero and his rescuer. Just what is that look on our heros face Anger ? Shame? Shock ? No he is thinking what will Hans-Otto have to say............ We have contacts in high places even in motorcycle racing heaven and while I cannot quote directly we got this message......... Mein Gott im Himmel Devlin ich warnte Sie, dass die Vorderbremse sehr scharf war. Sorgen Sie sich über das Motorrad nicht. Ein großer Kasten von Ersatzteilen wird darin verborgen..... Sadly the connection was then lost Even closer inspection reveals that bizarrely by some horrible coincidence and evil conspiracy theorists twist of fate both our heroes have the same sponsor. The great benefactor had this to say........... "Just as well he didn't fall off my Ducati or he'd be in Nobles having a size ten removed" THE END |
