Don't know how I managed before webcams came along....

Whilst we're on the subject of webcams - ever wondered how they got their name?

ISLANDS WEB CAMS - ian huntly - 05-06-2008

I just LOVE Webcams and have been "using" them to find out weather conditions at the Bungalow every day twice a day while I have been here.

They really fascinate me and one particular favourite of mine is at the South Pole (which is not in Port Erin, Cargo !) which, when it is the light six months of their year gives some beautiful pictures. Also there is one a the Geyser in Yellowstone Park (Old Faithful) (again, not at Sulby) so you can see a regular eruption or two......

I must get a life, musn't I !!!

You may like to see my new site, I had to start another, the other one ended up full to the gunwales !!

Please see http://www.ttfan2.co.uk which we launched on Monday whilst on the Island in our favourite bar, or two ! It is the old 2008tt site but very much updated thanks to my dongle.

Me, I am enjoying the 2008 TT........././////// I hope you lot are !

My favourite is the one near to Mt. St Helen - the volcanocam:

Right, this is now going completely off-thread, so I'm going out to play....
