starter rollers/donkey engine - live42day - 24-06-2008 Does anyone know where I can get a set of starter rollers or donkey engine from for this years manx Many thanks RE: starter rollers/donkey engine - Tel - 24-06-2008 http://www.foxleystarters.com/1.html RE: starter rollers/donkey engine - cargo - 24-06-2008 We've had this thread before http://www.ttwebsite.com/forums/admin/index.php?adminsid=cf2d9736d45ca861f1e407a68aabe15f Foxely starters are very expensive............Denis Simpkin (see above thread) made a starter for me...................it seems so far to work quite well. The beauty of his starter is that you can use it on your own althought an assistant does also help It is however not as convieniently portable as a Foxely and having such a large battery in the MGP holding area might not be allowed. You could of course keep the starter by the fence with the battery outside.............not that I would be planning to do just that |
