Bruce RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - arzed - 23-07-2008 I hope that you're going to decypher the signatures for the lucky winner I find most autographs I collect may as well say "Mickey Mouse"!! RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - Bakeriom - 24-07-2008 Luckily they have all been identified except one. A few years ago we would get items signed for JDF auctions and weeks later end up scratching our heads trying to work out who it was that signed the damn things Now we have gotten a bit older and wiser we make a note of who signed what. Just like to say thanks to all our supporters out there RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - Bill Snelling - 24-07-2008 Just to save some confusion, Lady Richter should read Ladi Richter - what a difference a letter makes! Met Sonny Angel at last years TT, he brought the first Yamaha to ever grace the Island, it had a sickly motor that died on him through practice so he doesn't appear in the records. The date would be circa 1960/1, a few of the riders only came to the TT those years, Angel, Brambilla, RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - Bakeriom - 25-07-2008 Cheers Bill, I will make a note. I notice the only L Richter listed on the TT database is Louis Richter so was just wondering if the Ladi is a nickname or are they two different people? Bruce RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - larryd - 25-07-2008 The TT database is less than dependable! "Ladi" is short for Ladislaus - he was Austrian, I think? Louis? Never! RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - thewitch - 25-07-2008 Just a reminder, this unrepeatable item has only another 16 hours to go... get bidding now. You could win something priceless and your contribution would help provide a service beyond price. Dig deep! RE: Autograph Book - Mike Hailwood Bob McIntyre etc. - thewitch - 26-07-2008 Congratulations to the winner, who has bought a wonderful thing, and to the Joey Dunlop Foundation £283 further on the way to their target. |
