The Manx Grand Prix does have a future.
That's the view of Bill Bennett, the chairman of the organising Manx Motor Cycle Club.
However, he is heavily hinting that the format of the event may be about to change:-

what i guess is they mite stop the raceing go for prades etc have some more races in the TT maybe even down at the S100
i know this will p a lot off but thats what i think

Well, they have a problem with falling entries but have done very little to address it. If some quarters wanted an excuse to turn it into a parade they need only let it continue to decline and then spin up the publicity machine to tell us how wonderful the new festival (don't call it a race) is. Or, they could do some really constructive things to make the event better and less expensive for the riders, open up the classes, reward the marshals better etc.

My geuss for MGP future will be the Newcomers races will go & future newcomers will join the main classes & the the race will be replaced by a Forgotten Era race , which would be great .
