Marshalling Saturday. - boakesey - 28-08-2008
Just to let those of you who have pre-ordered photos know that I (& some of my fellow photographers) have agreed to marshal if required on Saturday should the races be carried over from tomorrow (Friday). So if that's the case, I'll not be able to take photos, sorry.
Obviously, I'm hoping the weather holds and that both races go ahead as scheduled, but if there's no marshals, there'll be no racing on Saturday, so I wouldn't have anything to photograph....
....And if YOU are not doing anything on Saturday and are (or will be) on the Island, why not volunteer and join the Orange Army. I'm sure it's not too late to sign up.

As it happens, when I got to Ballaugh to marshal, I wasn't needed - some bloke called Ryan and his mate had turned up with some pals, so I managed to get some photos after all.
Here's a quickie - haven't had time to colour correct them or anything yet & I'm off to the pub for some tea, so this is to keep you going:
